Olaf Hajek is a German illustrator, who resides in London, Germany and New York . Among other things he has worked for numerous magazines like Rolling Stone, Flaunt, GQ Magazine, SPIN, Maxim or Myself Magazine and illustrated advertisements for fashion as well as celebrity portraits.
Why I like his art:
Some of his work strangely reminded me of Botticelli right away and then I came across an illustration that acually had Botticelli’s Venus with a twist incorporated in it. Botticelli was the subject of my final art studies way back when … I love Hajek’s art because it is so imaginitive.
