Izzie Klingels studied Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art. After graduating she founded Lazy Eye and created and directed live shows for bands including Death In Vegas and Beth Orton. Her work as an illustrator began in 2001 when she founded Hey Ladies fanzine with a group of female friends. Influenced by fairy tales, traditional folk illustrations, Vanitas paintings, psychedelic poster art, experimental film and surrealism she continues to explore different techniques and evolves her style.
Her work includes CD covers for Oasis and Goldfrapp, art for print like Nylon Magazine, NME, Italian Marie Claire, Vogue and The Guardian, as well as work for companies like Absolut Vodka, Calvin Klein, Miss Selfridge, Random House and Topshop among others.
